Join our watercolor class and explore the joys and challenges of this medium including detailed discussions of watercolor materials (paper, brushes, paints, etc.) and instruction on many watercolor techniques for painting of landscapes, seascapes, portraits and still-lifes. Pam demonstrates the painting process step-by-step, detailing the “hows” and “whys” and following up with individual attention. Various concepts will be introduced such as limited palettes, mixing colors, the color wheel, harmonious and complementary colors. We also discuss perspective, composition, hard and soft edges and value.
